What we need from you to quote accurately

The fastest path to a real number is a photo of each stump from a couple of angles, with something in frame for scale, plus a rough count of how many stumps and what the yard access looks like - open lawn, a fenced side yard, a slope, anything unusual nearby like a slab, a driveway edge, or a septic field you know the location of.

We'll ask a couple of follow-up questions if the photo leaves something unclear, like whether a stump sits closer to a foundation than the picture suggests. For most single-stump jobs in a straightforward yard, that's genuinely enough to give you a firm price over the phone or by text the same day you reach out, without either of us needing to guess at details a clearer photo could have settled.

When we'll ask to see it in person first

A handful of situations are hard to price accurately from a photo alone: several large hardwood stumps at once, a stump we suspect has roots grown into a foundation footer or driveway edge, or access tight enough that equipment size becomes a real question before we ever start the job. Sloped lake lots out toward Hendersonville and steep hillside yards up around Ridgetop tend to fall into this category too, since photos flatten out terrain in a way that makes a slope hard to judge accurately from a phone screen.

In those cases we'll schedule a quick walk-through before locking in a number, still at no cost to you, so the estimate you get is one we'll actually stand behind on the day we show up to grind - not a placeholder number that changes once we're standing in the yard.
